SERVICE ENHANCEMENTS & UPDATES

LADBS EXPANDS ITS

VIRTUAL INSPECTION PROGRAM

Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety has expanded its Virtual Inspection program to allow customers to schedule more types of inspections remotely.

The following items now qualify for virtual inspections:

🗹 Re-Roof

🗹 Main Panel and Sub-Panel Upgrades

🗹 Electric Vehicle Chargers

🗹 Demolition Permits

Benefits of Virtual Inspection:

1. Customers can plan & schedule their inspections days in advance.

2. Customers can plan three to five inspections with a single technician in one day.

3. Eliminates need to pay a technician all day to wait for a single inspection.

4. Technicians can more conveniently plan their routes.

5. Allows for related-third party participants such as Homeowners / Property Managers.

6. Minor corrections can be re inspected later in the day. For example, if a technician needs to run to the local supply store to pick up a small part.
