Dear HPN,
We are excited to have you back praying with us in this Lenten Season. In preparation for Easter, let's praise God for His faithfulness, His unconditional love for us and for all of the promises He gives us, His children! There is so much to be thankful for, so let's start praying with a heart full of gratitude for our awesome, loving Father! Community is Vital!
We want to remind you to keep praying for our Christian Creative Community in Hollywood. One of HPN's greatest passions is to connect professional believers with one another in order to build a vital, loving, working, serving community of God's children, laboring side by side with other entertainment professionals who may never have experienced the love of God before. The three greatest fiery darts of the enemy against our creative community are: Isolation, Discouragement and Fear! And community helps solve all three of these struggles. So, keep praying for Christians to find one another, pray for one another, love one another and even hire one another. Because we need each other more than we can understand! Keep Praying for Jonathan Majors
Please keep actor Jonathan Majors in prayer. Jonathan's career was just taking off before last March, when accusations of battery and assault were first brought to light. With continued legal issues, we pray for Jonathan's complete surrender to Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and for healing and truth to comfort all those involved. We also want to pray for anyone in the industry who may be secretly in an abusive relationship.

Biola's New Film Studio Building
| We are very excited for our HPN Board member and friend, Tom Halleen, who is the founding Dean of the Snyder School of Cinema and Media Arts at Biola University. Tom is overseeing an incredible new Film School, with beautiful new facilities, programs and faculty. Biola was named as one of the 20 "Top Film Schools" in North America by Variety earlier this year. So, we ask that you pray for Tom and his entire leadership team, as they build a new building, create new programs and mold a state-of-the-art Film Production School. Oh, how wonderful it would be to have the greatest film school students come out of a Christian University! | |

Da'Vine Joy Randolph Gives God the Glory at the Oscars
The 2024 Awards Season is officially over after last Sunday's Oscars ceremony. But we are still rejoicing over Da'Vine Joy Randolph, who praised God while accepting her Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in The Holdovers. Da'Vine gave credit to God and then her mother for her win, and we are celebrating her and praying for her long career ahead! Praise God for bold believers! Here is the complete winners list.

Denzel Washington stars in Spike Lee's new Thriller
Denzel Washington is a respected man of God in Hollywood and he is a role model for many young actors who admire his talent, his wisdom, his humor and his faith. Let's pray for Denzel as he partners with Director Spike Lee and Oscar nominee Jeffrey Wright in his next film, High and Low. This Apple Original Film will start production this month and we want to pray for Denzel to be salt and light on the set, and for everyone he works with to see his solid faith and loving heart!

Abuse in the Industry
We ask for you to intercede with us in order to break down the hidden stronghold of sexual abuse in the industry. We are deeply saddened by the news surrounding the new documentary Quiet on Set, and we are heartbroken for every child or adult that has ever been mistreated or abused in Hollywood. We are praying for God to continue to expose those who would harm anyone, especially children. We also want to pray for the healing of God to completely restore what has been stolen or broken. Due to the nature of the details of this story, we have not linked any articles, and we ask that you be discerning and prayerful if you look into it. Please pray for this serious issue!

Disneyland's $2.5 Billion Expansion Plan is Moving Forward
We want to be praying for the expansion of Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. This new expansion will almost double the existing park and will offer thousands of new jobs to creatives and So Cal locals. The Disney company is a major mission-field that needs our prayers! Let's have faith for radical revival and transformation within the company, and that many Christians will be hired to share the love of Jesus in Disneyland!

"What is Galatians Saying to Hollywood Today?"
FPCH Sr. Pastor, Dr. Clark Cowden, is starting a new Bible Study. The group will meet for 10 weeks and study the Book of Galatians. Check it out on Wednesday nights from 7:00 -8:15 pm, in the Mears Center, starting on Wednesday, April 3rd and going through June 12th . No previous Bible knowledge is required. iPhone Film Festival
Entry deadline: April 1, 2024
Films due by April 15
Participation is open to anyone to submit a short film or video (5-15 minutes) shot on phones around the theme of “Wonder”. Films can be any genre (documentary, comedy, drama, spoken word, music videos, TED talks, etc.), and film/video makers of all skill levels are encouraged to submit their work.
Films will need to be submitted via a downloadable online link by Monday, April 15th, 5 PM (PST). There is no entry fee and all faith backgrounds are welcome! To enter, or for more info or questions, email David Cobia at David@ReimagineChurch.Church with the subject line “iPhone Film Festival”.
