Black History Month Poster Contest
Create a visual representation of the theme an “African American Hero that Inspires you!” The contest is open to grades 3 - 8. Submit competed posters by Feb. 26th. The district winner will receive $100 and there will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners by grade. Click here for more information.
NY & NJ Climate Education Youth Summit
Join Eco Ambassadors for a week packed with inspiring panelists and skills oriented workshops on addressing climate change. The February 8-12 Summit is best for middle and high schoolers, but all are welcome Click here for details.
Join the FEMA Youth Preparedness Council
This program brings teens together from across the country that are interested and engaged in community preparedness. Students in grades 8 - 11 are eligible to apply. Applications are due March 7. Click here for details.

Spring Soccer Registration is Starting
HUB Soccer of Denville spring registratin is starting for all divisions. The registration deadline is February 28. The season will start on Saturday, April 10. Please click here for more information.

Denville Schools Board Of Education Meeting
The Denville Board of Education held its meeting on January 25, 2021. Click the image to the right to view the meeting. 

Board Highlights from January 25th:
1. The board is committed to working hard to keep the tax impact as low as possible for the 21-22 school year. The budgeting process will continue through the months of February, March and April. The final budget hearing will take place on April 26, 2021.
2. ML King service project food drive going well. 
3. The Board took part in training with school board attorney Frances Febres on HIB laws
