Board of Education Creates an Ad Hoc Committee

The Denville Board of Education has created an ad hoc committee to study the possible need for additional instructional space due to projected increases in student population. The Committee will present their findings at the December 11, 2023 Board of Education meeting at 7:30 PM.

Morris Hills Regional District Programs

There is still time to apply to the Morris Hills Regional District Magnet and International Baccalaureate Programs. The deadline for application is December 1st. Please click here for more information.

Dine to Donate at Brick 46

Support the Ladies Auxiliary of the Denville Volunteer Fire Department! There will be a Dine to Donate event at Brick 46 in Rockaway from November 13-18. Print a copy of the flyer and present at the restaurant and 20% will be donated to the Auxiliary. Click here for the flyer.

YMCA Kids Night Out

Lakeland Hills YMCA is hosting a Pokemon Kids Night Out on Saturday, November 18. Kids have the Y to themselves to play games, have fun, enjoy pizza and snacks. There will be another Kids Nights Out in December. Please click here for more information.

Registration is now open for Morris Knolls Junior Eagles Wrestling. It is open to Morris Knolls High School sending districts (Denville and Rockaway) for grades K -8. No prior experience is necessary. Please click here for more information.

1. The district auditor presented the 2022-23 audit.

2. Dr. Cullis presented the 2022-23 NJSLA results

3. The Board approved a resolution regarding collaboration with Valleyview and district Green Teams with the Oaks Green Team to partner on sustainability activities including the collection of plastic bags for the Trex recycling program.
