We’ve all been there: Suddenly you’re hungry at a park. With limited food options, you hope to be invited to a stranger's picnic or kid’s birthday party. Now, if you happen to be at one of three parks on certain days, you’ll have option to get food!

Chief Hosa Campground Opens for the 2024 Season

Did you know that Denver has a campground in the Mountain Parks? Bring your tent or camper to reconnect with nature in the mountains with the convenience of showers and flushing toilets in the bathhouse. Reservations are required.

Mount Blue Sky: Get your tickets! 🎫

The Mount Blue Sky Recreation Area, including Denver’s Summit Lake Park, is now open. Reservations for Mount Blue Sky can be made up to 30 days before your visit. Reservations are required for vehicle entry. Visit recreation.gov to create an account and purchase your ticket.

Pickleball is Life

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've heard of pickleball or at least the noise the ball makes while in play. If you have yet to hear about it, two quick things to know: 1) it is NOT played with a pickle 2) it IS one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Washington Park Celebrates its Quasquicentennial

Say that five times fast. For those not familiar with anniversaries, this means Wash Park turns 125 years old! Quite the milestone - even in park years. Join the festivities being hosted by Friends and Neighbors of Washington Park (FANS). The party kicks off with 2 contests (closing on June 30), and a party on August 7! More information.
