Mental Health Awareness Month

Did you know it's common for people who are living with dementia to experience depression and anxiety?

By understanding what this may look like, you can be better equipped to navigate and support mental health challenges.

Finding ways to stay active and engaged can improve the mental health of someone with dementia. As an added bonus, many times this can also help boost motivation, increase appetite, and sleep quality. Overall this improves their quality of life.

Professional help is available.

Bring up any concerns you may have to your doctor or provider.

Diving in to the FISH Approach

The FISH Approach is all about getting into the water, or stepping into the reality of the person living with dementia. Stay tuned for common communication snags and tips on how to get in the water and to avoid getting stuck in the weeds!

I am booking into September and would love to setup your presentations for this fall and winter. I have limited availability for summer, but reach out if there is a date you have in mind!
