May is Mental Health Month, a time to raise awareness, break stigma, and prioritize our wellbeing. Let's start conversations, offer support, and prioritize self-care. Your mental health matters every month, but let's give it an extra spotlight this May.

Here are five things you can do to improve your mental health:

  1. Practice mindfulness and relaxation techniques such as meditation or deep breathing exercises.
  2. Engage in regular physical activity, even if it's just a short walk or stretching session.
  3. Prioritize healthy sleep habits, aiming for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night.
  4. Cultivate a supportive social network by connecting with friends, family, or support groups.
  5. Seek professional help if needed, whether through therapy, counseling, or psychiatric support. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
