My office in our new house is the space over the garage. It is a multi-functional space filled with a lot of cast offs, but I’m liking it. Hope to do more in the future (I really need to clean up the corner of doom mess), but I’m happy to have the wall to wall boxes gone! The cedar chest was my mom’s and it is now a file cabinet. My mom also made the quilt at the end of the bed (it was too small for this bed, but I like the color it brings to the room). The end tables came from our old den. The worktable is from our garage (hope to have cabinets some day!) My big desk is actually our old dining room table. My husband wants me to get a real desk, but I kind of love the size of the table! The trunk and wardrobe were my Grandma Bailey’s. It’s rather nice writing with family pieces all around me. Hopefully they will inspire me!
Check out the corner of doom to the right-the big pile is PART of a book I've been working on for many, many years! My grandfather actually made this wardrobe and it sat in my grandmother's garage for many years.
