Jules Mabie is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and began his dance training at the age of 8 at the Academy of Dance, Music & Theatre in West Palm Beach. In 2011, he began training under Chelsea Nasby at Ballet East, formerly Susan Lyle Studio. He also attended Dreyfoos School of the Arts as a dance major. He attended summer programs at the School of American Ballet, NYCB’s official school, in 2015 and 2016, and in 2016 he entered the school as a full-time student for the winter term. In November 2018, he became an apprentice with NYCB. As an apprentice, Mr. Mabie performed a featured role in George Balanchine’s
Slaughter on Tenth Avenue.
In May 2019, he joined the Company as a member of the Corps de Ballet.
