Happy December and all the joy this month brings. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday celebration. I just returned from celebrating my Thanksgiving in Tucson and found they are already gearing up for the annual International Gem, Mineral and Fossil show, starting at the end of January and running until the middle of February. After two years, it will be great to be able to resume our annual buying trip next month. We feel like with the inventory purchasing changes COVID has taught us, we will be able to shop those 4 weeks more efficiently and with more time to hunt out new merchandise and vendors. We have already heard from our suppliers that they are seeing prices for everything practically double and unfortunately we will be seeing the impact of this cost increased passed on to us in Tucson.

Several long standing pieces you have enjoyed when visiting our store found new homes during our Customer Appreciation Event last month. We went through the whole campus and marked down items 35%, 50% and up to 75% off some of our larger guards and older pieces that have been with us for a few years. There are still a few special bowed pieces left on the floor waiting for their new home.

We are still putting out new inventory daily from pallets we are continually receiving. It’s becoming more and more beneficial to shop early in order to get the most options and best prices. We always hear stories after the holidays about gifts, both given and received from Nature’s Treasures, and how much joy they bring. Be a part of our family and share in the joy this year. We have the best unique gifts available. Definitely something for everyone, even something for those hard to buy for people. Remember, if in a time crunch gift cards are always available both online and at the store.

Even though December doesn’t have a lot of holidays to celebrate, the ones it does have sure do pack a wallop. Even though Hanukkah started November 29th it doesn’t end until December 6th so this 8 day ceremonial celebration is still enjoying spreading joy during December. We do have our Winter Solstice, also known as the first day of Winter, this year on December 21st. Because the North Pole is tilted farthest from the sun this makes the winter solstice day the shortest day of the year. In fact, in Alaska this day has virtually no sunlight all day long... Of course there are all the various reasons for celebration on Christmas Day, December 25th. What ever your reasons are for embracing the traditions for this day, we wish all of you pure joy and happiness in your celebrations. Then on December 26th to acknowledge, honor and celebrate African customs and culture, Kwanzaa Day was officially declared a cultural holiday in the 60’s.

We’ve had numerous requests for displays for crystals and small alter items so the online store has stocked some wooden shelving for all of our crystal lovers to display all their treasures.
