Living up to the Mission

The International Center is a catalyst to informconvene and connect public, private and civic global objectives in Indiana.

The International Center recognized Native American Heritage month, celebrated throughout November. Within the heartland of the United States, Indiana (whose name literally means “Land of the Indians”), holds a unique place in this celebration. Learn more about the international scope of Native American Heritage Month in our recent blog post.

The Center celebrated another great year of the James T. Morris Global Leadership Series. Current cohort members and alumni gathered at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for a networking session and the opportunity to hear from the series' namesake, Jim Morris. Thank you to this year's cohort for another meaningful year!

The Center hosted a multi-region International Visitor Leadership Program delegation of individuals from Hong Kong, Georgia, Italy, Chile, and Burkina Faso. Visitors had the opportunity to experience a traditional American Thanksgiving with host families, spend a day at Carmel Christkindlmarkt, and even meet with local officials.
