A video of the proposed improvements is also available. Visit the FDOT project page for more information.
275 operational improvements completed; Howard Frankland Bridge construction begins
The Interstate 275 operational improvements in Westshore were completed in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. The $31 million project started in June 2019 and was completed on time and on budget. The project improved traffic merges on I-275 and SR 60, as well as adding lanes to 275 at SR 60.

Construction activities have started on the new southbound Howard Frankland Bridge from Tampa to St. Petersburg. Be on the look out for nightly lane closures. The new span should be completed in late 2025. It will carry four general use lanes, four express lanes (two in each direction) and a bike/pedestrian pathway.
