Dear Holy Name Families,

What a festive night it was last night! Thank you to everyone who attended our Tree Lighting and Advent Prayer Service. We are thankful to our Student Council and Student Choir for leading the prayer service and songs. It was great to see so many families there last night.

Alongside the Tree Lighting and Prayer Service, Home & School had a very successful Holiday Marketplace. This night has become a great tradition and a wonderful evening for our school and wider community. Also, Santa's Workshop was a great success. Thank you to Home & School for bringing this tradition back to Holy Name.

Many of our second graders will be receiving their First Reconciliation on Saturday. We will keep them in our prayers. Good luck to our basketball teams as they compete in their first games this weekend.

Have a great weekend.

Best regards,

Mr. Chisholm

Holy Name in Pictures

From our youngest to our oldest students, what fun we had shopping for our families at Santa's Workshop!

Last night was full of joy and cheer as we lit up the nine Christmas trees decorated with the colors and ornaments of this holy season of Advent. Principal Chisholm led the Prayer Service with Student Council and the Youth Choir assisting. In Parish Hall there were amazing vendors, tasty home baked goods and fun games for the kids. With the siren blaring that 'right jolly old elf' arrived by fire engine to the delight of all attending!! Thank you to Home & School for organizing a great holiday event!

Feast of the Immaculate Conception celebratory Mass today with Father Nakkeeran officiating and Grade 5 assisting.
