This project was a harmonious collaboration with the visionary team at PKA Architects and the exceptionally talented Renae Keller Interior Design. The culmination of our efforts has resulted in a residence that perfectly embodies the desires of our clients—blending contemporary rustic aesthetics with ultimate comfort.



The infusion of natural woods, coupled with strategically placed pops of color, creates a perfect balance of warmth, texture, and visual appeal. This lake home is a testament to the seamless integration of design elements, exuding an atmosphere of relaxation and rejuvenation.

An important part of Lake Country’s Holiday Celebration includes honoring two individuals who had a great influence on our company and employees in 2023. These yearly awards, born in 1983, honor members of our staff for their positive contributions that are integral to their, and our success. They uphold the Lake Country Culture that has allowed us to continue to help people for the past 47 years.

The Golden Hammer Award honors the Carpentry Trade and the individual who has shown a passion to rise to the top of their profession. Their reputation for quality work, service to the customer, and work ethic precedes them. They have earned the respect of their fellow field staff for their commitment to excellence and loyalty. All of us at Lake Country give Rob McHugh a big shout out for his achievements and in being awarded this honor. Put that Golden Hammer up on the mantle, Rob, so others can appreciate your achievement!

Our Zig Ziglar Award is for that individual who is destined for success and knows that if you can dream it, you can achieve it. It is reserved for the one who understands Zig when he coined, “What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.” John Carey is our 2023 Zig Ziglar champion who is going to the top non-stop. Since joining us 3 years ago, John has climbed the ladder of success - each rung continues to lift him higher. If you ask John how he is doing, he might tell you, “I’m feeling GREAT….but don’t you worry, I’ll get better”! John’s recent promotion to sales representative for our Customer Care Division ensures that those folks he’s dealing with will receive the attention and care they deserve.

Our company is blessed to have these types of individuals walk our halls and take care of our clients in the field. We are indebted to each one of them because they are what make Lake Country Builders.
