Looking Back on 2020 and ahead to 2021
We hope to see everyone March 18-20, 2021!
It's hard to believe 2020 is officially coming to an end. For many people, they probably thought this would never come!

Throughout everything, this year has been dominated by one theme: the pandemic. Beginning in mid-March, businesses and households nationwide were thrusted into unexpected territory.

It's easy to focus on the negative, but we can't forget the most important thing to come out of this year: a sense of community. Without an excellent support system, this year would have been nearly impossible.

We want to thank our members, partners, exhibitors, and volunteers for supporting us as we had to make the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 show (the first time in the show's 60-year run!) due to concerns of COVID-19.

As planning for 2021 continues, we look forward to seeing everyone healthy and safe at the Western State Bank Expo Center, March 18-20! WKMA will be doing our part by increasing hand sanitizer and handwashing stations throughout show grounds and, if required by the CDC, spacing our exhibitors to the recommended safe distance, among other safety procedures.

2020 has certainly been a challenging year and as it thankfully comes to an end, we can't help but be excited for what comes next!

Even though we expect the pandemic to be with us for some time, the world continues to turn and there is an overall sense the light at the end of the tunnel is quickly approaching.

Mid-America Workforce Summit Postponed
New Dates to be Announced
Due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 2021 event for a later date. While disappointing, this is a necessary step in keeping summit staff, attendees, exhibitors, and presenters safe during these unprecedented times.

With the postponement, there is now a chance for us to review your program and presenter recommendations for the 2021 program! Recommendations can be submitted to eddie@3ishow.com.

We were elated with how well the 2020 summit was received and look forward to building on that in the year to come! Please like the Mid-America Workforce Summit Facebook Page to receive continued updates and information regarding the Summit.
Our Dear Friend will be Greatly Missed

In Memory of LeRoy E. Dringmann
1929 - 2020
Since the release of our last newsletter, LeRoy Dringmann, a long-time friend and supporter, passed away on Saturday, October 10.

Dringmann, a Great Bend resident since 1935, was an electrical contractor owning and operating Amerine Electric and served as the Electrical Chairman of the 3i SHOW for over 50 years.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Illuminating Engineering Society, honorary life member of Kansas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the National Electrical Contractors Association. Dringmann was the second person to receive the Great Bend Chamber Citizen of the year award.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends as this is their first holiday season since his passing.
