DECEMBER 2016
Special Holiday Edition
|
Dear CIM Supporters,
Now that we've had our first, if light, snowfall here in Minnesota, it feels more like winter! However, we're not letting the weather slow us down as we prepare for a lively December full of events.
First, we want to thank all of you for your generous donations to the Center for Irish Music on Give to the Max Day
! Between our fall drive and Give to the Max Day, we raised over $13,000 for CIM. Your support is both humbling and greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Please join us at all of our recitals this weekend and next. In an effort to showcase all of the immense talent in our community we have separated the recitals into multiple events! Please invite your family and friends.
Don't forget that classes don't stop after recitals. Our fall term continues through December 18th and then resumes for three more weeks on January 3rd.
Spring term registration is now open! See details at the bottom of the newsletter.
All of us at CIM wish you the most wonderful of holiday seasons.
-Emily Flagstad, CIM Assistant Director
|
We hope you, your family, and friends
will join us for all of our fall recitals.
The recitals are our staff's favorite events of the year; where we can see and hear all of the tunes and/or songs that our students have been working on so diligently!
There will be a potluck following all of the recitals, so
please bring a treat to share.
CIM will provide the beverages.
