Hello December and hello Holiday Mystery Shops!


Avoid Scams

Always go to the MSPA website to make sure you are dealing with a legitimate company. 
 
Scammers are using our logos, names, even using our official site info, to appear legit. Beware of anything that looks suspicious.
 
Red Flags: Receiving Payment or Somebody Offering payment before you've conducted a shop. Anybody asking you to deposit checks, make a deposit, or wire money. 
  • We will never send you a check. Our Company {Mystery Shopper Services, BMA, and Customer 1st}, pay by pay-pal only. Any other form of payment is not from us. 
Scammers/Hackers use "spoofing" sites to steal your identity. Basically, it's a shadow copy of the true website.  
  Anything that sounds too good to be true, in most cases is.

If you believe you have had contact with a scammer, you can report it to the National Consumers League and  Federal Trade Commission.
Scheduling Tips

1}  When requesting a shop always pay attention to the blocked dates noted under "do not request". The client does not want to be shopped on the dates for specific reasons. 

The system will not stop you from picking those noted dates so make sure you are reviewing those "do not request" dates and picking a date from the calendar carefully.

2}  If for any reason you cannot complete a shop, please be sure to log in and cancel your shop immediately or call and email your scheduler and they can cancel it for you. Please do not wait until the last minute to cancel. Our Scheduling time is very valuable, so you letting us know ASAP will allow us to possibly get the shop re-scheduled to another shopper, before time runs out. We greatly appreciate it. 

Be aware that if you cancel any assignment your rating will be lowered. The only time you are not penalized is if you contact your scheduler with an acceptable/uncontrollable situation and they remove the negative points manually.
Quality Control Tips
1} Please do not attach the same photo more than once into your report. This causes delays in accepting your report.

2} The clients enjoy reading your reports and they should be able to read it and get a clear picture of what took place from beginning, everything in the middle, until the end. Details are always very important.

3} If you have more than one shop, each experience is unique so the report information you provide should also be unique. No report should read the same. 

4} Make sure you end your sentences with a period. Please use appropriate punctuation, by using one single period at the end of the sentence, not multiple/ongoing periods.
Q&A
Can I tell people how to sign up as a Mystery Shopper? 

Yes! As long as you are keeping all of our client and company information confidential, as stated in your contract. 

You can simply tell them to log directly into iSecretShop to register. 


Can I get paid to refer somebody? If so, how does it work?

We accept referrals at any time.

For the month of December 2016 we will pay the referrer $5 for a referral in one of the following areas. 
  • Morgan Hill, CA 95037
  • Arroyo Grande, CA 93420
  • Chico, CA 95926
  • Redding, CA 96001
  • Wauchula, FL 33873 
  • Greensboro, NC 27408
In order for the referrer to receive the $5
  • Referrer has to be a registered on the iSecretShop platform and have a signed agreement with our company {Mystery Shopper Services / BMA / Customer 1st}.
  • Person referred has to be a registered on the iSecretShop platform and have a signed agreement with our company {Mystery Shopper Services / BMA / Customer 1st}.
  • Person referred must let us know the email address in which you {the referrer} are registered in our system under, so we can verify. 
  • Person referred must conduct a December 2016 shop with with our company {Mystery Shopper Services / BMA / Customer 1st}, with no issues, and have the report accepted. If a shop is officially accepted, the referrer would receive the $5 through pay-pay, in the payment time frame noted in the contract. 
  • One referral per person.
