Our partnership with The Education Partnership (TEP) began in August of 2019 and we opened up a Matt’s Maker Space on the mezzanine level of their facility last year! Their goal is to help connect educators with the technology tools and creative curriculum for their use in their classrooms and the Matt’s Maker Space is a welcoming place for teachers to engage in STEAM Maker activities.
An individual or an organization may adopt a local school that’s eligible for help, and provide the funds to supply each student with their very own Power Tools Homework Kit. The adopter comes to The Education Partnership to build the school’s Power Tools Homework Kits—and builds camaraderie while they are at it! Once completed, the organization attends an assembly at the school to speak to the students, distribute the kits, and see the impact of their efforts first-hand.
