CRC launches workshop to train orphanage leaders
The CRC has launched their new Attachment Theory “Train the Trainer” workshop, with the aim of helping child welfare organizations understand the impact of trauma on children, and learn how to help caregivers in their programs develop healthy relationships with the vulnerable children in their care.

The Train the Trainer workshop was created to expand the impact of the AT Workshop used by the CRC team to train caregivers. The CRC hopes to offer this training to social workers in child welfare organizations all across Sierra Leone, so that the families in their care will have access to tools they can use to build strong, healthy family relationships. The potential is for the AT workshop to positively impact thousands of children and families across the country.
This Mother's Day, help mothers & babies in Sierra Leone survive and thrive
Honor the mothers in your life by joining Helping Children Worldwide in providing access to prenatal care and safe labor and delivery services for mothers and babies.

For as little as $35, Mercy Hospital can provide prenatal care, labor & delivery services and post delivery well-baby care. $100 is enough to cover the cost of life-saving surgically-assisted delivery to save a mother and a baby at Mercy Hospital.

Watch this special Mother's Day Message from Dr. Aruna Stevens of Mercy Hospital and click on the link to make a donation to honor the wonderful mothers in your life.

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed

The Lord reigns forever;
    he has established his throne for judgment.

He rules the world in righteousness
    and judges the peoples with equity.

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
    a stronghold in times of trouble.

Those who know your name trust in you,
    for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.
