The foundation for our ministry has been, and always will be, the crusade work to win souls in the Philippines. I’ve written and shared with you the current obstacles we face with travel restrictions, lockdowns, social “distancing”, and all the rest. At present, we’re concentrating our work in parts of the country that are not as heavily policed, on certain islands and certain areas in those islands. Here is one recent report from our crusade workers on the island of Cebu:
Hello Dad! I just want to share our praise report for our recent house crusade in Kayang, Bogo, last October 11th. Total attendance: adults:44, children: 24. Total number of salvations: 44. Japheth was “quarantined” inside our compound for almost two years because of the Covid-19 travel restrictions that prevented him from going home on trimester breaks in our compound. Here he is being introduced to the people at this crusade. He will be responsible for starting our outreach in this village going forward. |

Our crusades reach every generation that’s represented, from the young children to the oldest amongst them. |

We always separate the children, and do our best to reach them in ways they can understand and respond to. |

Almost always, 100% of the children we reach will receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. This is the only way to effectively protect them from the lies they hear from the devil through religion, schooling, government and peer pressure. Praise God for their tender and pure hearts! |

These people have nothing to their name, but when they hear the gospel, they respond with joy and gratitude. |

Personal prayer is always undertaken for those in need of healing. Many healings take place in these village crusades. |

In America:
Pray for God’s intervention to bring justice and judgment to the perpetrators of the ongoing international effort to sabotage and replace our system of government. These criminals must be identified, prosecuted and imprisoned. As a country founded on the principles of democracy, America as a country is doomed to destruction if Christians and conservatives are systematically censored, maligned, persecuted and threatened. This must stop, and only God can make that happen!
Pray that God will remove the gutless, spineless politicians that the devil has used in both political parties. We want strong, courageous, patriotic representatives at all levels of government, including the courts.
Pray for restoration of freedom of choice related to the vaccine issue. There is no need for mask or vaccine mandates. An objective study of the “data”, and the opinions of educated and qualified personnel in the medical field, confirms this. Pray for national spiritual repentance and revival. This alone can save America from itself, and from the ungodly, who are now actively working to silence the voice of Christianity in America.

In the Philippines:
Tax Attack. Our staff has recently met with local city officials, attempting to resolve this issue of tax payments. It appears we are close to a settlement, which will require MKMI to pay, but a much smaller amount than what was originally demanded from us. We are continuing to believe God for total victory in this situation, and a complete and permanent resolution to this issue. Stay tuned for updates in future COLD WATER newsletters.
Fear Virus Issues. Agree with us that all COVID-19 hurdles are eliminated. That means all travel restrictions and quarantine requirements be lifted in all countries where we are assigned by God to go, especially the Philippines. It also means people who choose not to be vaccinated will be freely allowed to travel domestically and internationally without prohibitions of any kind.
Ministry Income. Agree with us for steady and sufficient monthly income to run the ministry and continue all avenues of outreach without interruption. We’re feeding on God’s faithfulness
(Psalms 37:3).
Road Expansion Project. Officials from the DPWH (Department of Works and Highways) have met with our compound leaders and are requesting lot and property titles to determine the amount of compensation we will receive when they destroy the entire front of our compound. Their initial estimate is far below what we need to realistically re-design and rebuild the front of our compound, including the staff house, big kitchen, conference center, front wall and gate, and a lot of landscaping. Believe with us for either a complete termination of this project, or adequate compensation to rebuild and modernize our facility, making it better than ever. Updates on this issue will be forthcoming in future COLD WATER newsletters.
Effective Crusade Outreach. Agree with us for maximum results from the crusades we conduct going forward, no matter what restrictions are in place to hinder us.
Successful Online Meetings. We are scheduling online Bible School classes and National Conferences using ZOOM technology. Agree with us for success in organizing and conducting these meetings going forward.

Ethel and I want you to know how important you are to the on-going work of MKMI in the Philippines, and around the world. We are presently in a good position financially, and expect that to be the case going forward through the fall of 2021. We believe we’ll get back to the Philippines as soon as possible, to resume effective and full-scale ministry operations. But wherever we are, we know we have got partners like you to lean on, as we all stand in faith for complete victory over this global pandemic attack of the enemy. |

Every Christian needs to receive God and His Word like a little child. We see this in our Philippine crusades all the time. The children are so trusting and so willing to follow us into the born-again experience. They have no baggage to undo mentally. They are an open book waiting to receive whatever we tell them the Lord has for them. Their faith in Him is unquestionable. We must demonstrate the same attitude. Do you trust the Lord like a child? Do you cast all your cares over to the Lord (1 Peter 5:7), really believing He loves you and will provide whatever you need? According to Luke 21:25-26, men’s hearts will be failing for fear and dreadful expectation of doom and disaster. Contrast that mindset with that of a little child, with loving parents doing their best to watch out for their every need. They just expect things to always work themselves out. They sleep peacefully at night. So it should be in our relationship with the Lord. Our God will never leave us or forsake us (Joshua 1:5). Jesus is with us always (Matthew 28:20). The Holy Spirit is with us and in us forever
(John 14:16-17). Relax and trust God like a child!
