Bible School Back in Session

As of first week of June, our Rhema Bible Training Center has resumed classes. This trimester of studies will run from June through August. At present, we have 13 hungry students attending class in person daily. We thank God that COVID-related travel restrictions for the past two years have been eased considerably for travel between islands and provinces. This has allowed all of our students to travel back to Ozamiz after their summer break. Presently, we have four American faculty who teach from the States, using ZOOM technology, and five Filipino instructors who teach in person there in our MKMI Compound.

Students come from all over the southern Philippines to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. Here is Rev. Jerry Carbajosa teaching his class to this batch of students.

As the Lord leads, some of our student graduates return to teach classes or courses. Here is one of our graduates, J.R.Carbajosa, sharing and teaching the students.

At the outset of the COVID crisis, before ZOOM technology was implemented, local RBTC instructors stepped in to substitute for the American instructors who couldn’t be there in person. Here is Pastor Ariel Bonite, an RBTC graduate, teaching my course on Faith in June, 2020.

Because of COVID-related travel restrictions still in place, the four American instructors teach remotely from the USA, using ZOOM technology. Here is Reverend Ethel, live teaching her class from our offices in Tucson, Arizona.

Here is Pastor Jesardy Panerio, our newest faculty member, teaching his first course as an RBTC Instructor this summer, 2022.

Upon completion of our 2-year curriculum, graduation ceremonies take place to send them out to obey the Great Commission. Graduates go on to start churches, serve in existing churches, hold crusades and do many things to apply in ministry what they learned in class.

Here is one of our recent graduation ceremonies, with graduates and the faculty together. Rhema graduates are all over the Philippines now, and even in other countries, representing Jesus to the world.

The cost of educating our students falls mainly upon the MKMI ministry. The students are charged tuition, but the actual budget for housing, feeding and educating them is much more than their tuition can cover. That’s where sponsorship becomes so vital. If you would like to sponsor one or more of these 13 students for 2 years of study, it only amounts to $75 monthly. This covers everything we need to provide for them. And remember, your gifts are always tax-deductible.

Here is our current batch of students, holding bags of blessing from supporters who sponsor the work of training these students through the Word of God.

You can be a student sponsor too! Contact Rev. Ethel in our Tucson office for details about how you can help these students finish their training and upon graduation, go into all the world to win souls and build churches.

You can also click the link below and select "Sponsor a Student" from the drop down menu. If you'd like to sponsor a student at the $75/month you can opt to make it a monthly donation. You can also make a one-time donation toward student sponsorship if you'd like. Our students thank you for it!

SPONSOR A STUDENT

Rhema Bible Training Center is aggressively seeking Christians who are called to do something significant for Jesus with their lives in these last days. This is the Bible school that trained and prepared me before I was sent to the Philippines in 1980. What I learned provided me with the knowledge and foundation for success in ministry. The good news is that our RBTC school in Ozamiz City is available to do the same teaching and training for Filipinos. This school will elevate your abilities to serve Jesus with excellence. This school prepares you for success as an Ambassador of Christ. Contact us for all the details, and how you can enroll in our next trimester of teaching that begins this coming September 2022. Contact info: Rev. Cheryl Carbajosa, School Director @ 09382071739, or Rev. Emmie Cabanag, School Administrator @ 09127609333.

We appreciate your faithful prayers of agreement for these priority issues we’re dealing with now in the Philippines:

In the Philippines:

Typhoon Odette. Work is progressing in multiple locations, rebuilding churches and parsonages destroyed or damaged by this huge storm from last December. Agree with us for generous donations to continue to be sent to MKMI USA, which we will wire overseas to help our affected ministers, families and church members.

Ministry Income. Agree with us for steady and sufficient monthly income to run the ministry and continue all avenues of outreach without interruption. We’re feeding on God’s faithfulness (Psalms 37:3). As our COLD-WATER newsletters indicate, we’re conducting our crusade outreaches in select villages and isolated locations. Your support enables us to send our teams wherever the Holy Spirit leads.

Ethel and I want you to know how important you are to the on-going work of MKMI in the Philippines, and around the world. We are presently in a good position financially and expect that to be the case as we move through the summer of 2022. We believe we’ll get back to the Philippines as soon as possible, to resume effective and full-scale ministry operations. But wherever we are, we know we have got partners like you to lean on, as we all stand in faith for complete victory over this global pandemic attack of the enemy.

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; Deuteronomy 30:19

The greatest gift God has given to us is free will. We can choose life, death, blessing, cursing, good or bad. It’s not up to God, and it’s not up to the devil. The Lord wants to bless us in this life and spend eternity with Him in heaven. The devil wants to torment us in this life and drag us to hell for all eternity when we die. But who does what is all up to us! God desires that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4), but He won’t violate our power of choice. He’ll let people reject Him if that’s what they want. Jesus stands at our front door and knocks, but He waits until we open the door and let Him in (Revelation 3:20). Choose Jesus. Make Him Lord of your life. Choose to live right, in every way. Choose to be a radical soul-winner for the Lord. Give God the opportunity to bring blessings, protection, provision and fulfillment into your life. It's your choice!

Mandate of Must.jpg

Now more than ever, Christians need to know what they must do, say, and tell others. This book identifies eight biblical mandates we must address and fulfill in these last days. These mandates are not God’s suggestions or requests. They are His commands. Therefore, they must be made top priority each day. By doing so, we allow God to be great in our lives, providing us with all the blessings to be prosperous, protected, and successful.

If you want to make an eternal impact on the world around you for Jesus, you need to read the contents of this powerful new book. Order your copy of THE MANDATE OF MUST today. Go online at www.mkmi.org to order, or call our Tucson office to place your order directly.
