Spring has Sprung!

  APRIL 2024 NEWSLETTER

Our students are flourishing and making progress in their academic and personal development.

The center reopened its doors after a brief closure due to insecurity issues in a neighboring town. The safety and well-being of our students are our top priority, and we are excited to see them back and eager to learn. Our center reamains a safe place where students can thrive, interact with their friends, and engage in a supportive learning environment.

In our afterschool program, we go beyond teaching the basics. We understand the importance of nourishing the whole child - mind, body, and soul. That's why we not only focus on academic lessons but also provide hot meals and snacks to our students. By offering nutritious food, we ensure that our students are fueled with the essential nutrients needed for their growth and development.

In June, 20 students from our computer program will be receiving their certificates in the Microsoft Suite program. This 8-month program has equipped our students with the skills to proficiently navigate Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. We are proud to share that our new WiFi system has further enriched the learning experience for all participants.

On off school days and weekends, we open our space to students for fellowship, community service, and other cultural activities. This provides a wonderful opportunity for students to engage with their peers, give back to the community, and participate in enriching cultural experiences.

We are immensely grateful for your ongoing support in enabling us to deliver vital services to individuals in need. Your consistent monthly donations and spontaneous contributions have a significant impact on the lives of those we serve. Thank you for being a crucial part of our mission to make a positive difference in the world.
