Rochester, NY–June 23, 2024–What an amazing Saturday night! Thanks to everyone who came out for our first two nights and filled our venues and streets with appreciative music fans!! Wow! The 21st Edition CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival continues today with a full lineup of incredible music in the Clubs, free shows on Jazz Street, in the Wegmans Pavilion, and in the Rochester Regional Health Big Tent (6PM), and great food and drinks!
The nine-day Festival continues through Saturday June 29, presenting 326 shows with 1750+ artists playing at 20 venues.

Locke/Keezer/Smith
Joe Locke is widely considered to be one of the major voices of his instrument. Geoffrey Keezer is a GRAMMY®-winning pianist, composer, arranger, and producer, and Tommy Smith is one of the world's leading saxophonists and a highly respected composer and arranger. A not to miss concert!

Edmar Castañeda

Groover Quartet
Led by keyboardist Mike LeDonne, the Groover Quartet is an outlet for his love of the Hammond B-3 electric organ and funky jazz, soul, and R&B. Alongside LeDonne, the Groover Quartet features his equally adept bandmates, saxophonist Eric Alexander, guitarist Peter Bernstein, and drummer Joe Farnsworth. Need we say more?

Kaisa's Machine
Nordic noir meets New York sparkle. Kaisa's Machine pictures Kaisa's vision of music in the form of her compositions. The music aims to be relatable - sometimes it's bouncy and groovy, celebrating with you, other times making you ponder all the mysteries and tragedies of life on our planet. Playing bass is Kaisa's way of dealing with it all.

Our Official Late Night Jams start at 10:30 PM nightly until. You never know who will show up to play! Led by Mike Cottone on Fridays and Saturdays and by Bob Sneider and his Trio Sunday through Thursday. At the Hyatt Regency Rochester's Astor on Main. Free, no cover. Food and beverages are available for purchase. Park in South Ave Garage.
