Dawit's First Months in America

Dawit

Dawit arrived in the U.S. from Ethiopia this fall and enrolled in our Level 2 group ESL class. In January, Dawit began his second semester of English classes.

When asked to share something good that happened recently, Dawit said, "I got my driver's license...I registers school my kids and follow up and take care of them. For me all these is big deal because I am only three months when I came to USA."

Congratulations on these major accomplishments, Dawit!

Yes! I will support Dawit and his classmates with my gift today!

Spring Semester Is Off to a Busy Start

Spring registration photos

A new semester is underway! 128 students came in person to sign up for classes during class registration in January. They join hundreds of returning students in participating in our more than 40 available free classes. We loved getting to meet each student, talk about their goals, and find the best class for them. We can't wait to see what everyone accomplishes this semester!
