Waiting On A Song is nine-time Grammy-winner Dan Auerbach's love letter to Nashville.
As such, he recruited some of Nashville's most respected players to write and record on his latest, including John Prine, Duane Eddy, Jerry Douglas, Pat McLaughlin and Bobby Wood and Gene Chrisman of the Memphis Boys. Auerbach said about working with his musical heroes: "Living in Nashville has definitely changed the way I think about music and the way that I record it. I didn't have all of these resources before. I am working with some of the greatest musicians that ever lived." We love the new, nostalgic '70s-themed video for the title track. You'll see a lot of your fave local haunts & peeps depicted as they might have appeared in the 1970s. Watch it here.
You're going to love Dan's new album. This will be a great way to celebrate here in his adopted hometown with friends and family. I hope to see you tomorrow morning at 11AM!
*Wristbands for this event are non-transferable. Please do not sell your wristband on Craigslist or any other after-market outlet. Wristbands are tied to a transaction involving a record/CD and a poster. We need to get these items to the people who purchased them. If you sell your wristband to someone else they will not get the record, CD or poster. If you pre-order and receive a wristband and find out that you can't make it on the day, please contact Grimey's to transfer that purchase to another fan.
