“For all its imperfections, America is still the beacon to the world,
an ideal to be realized, a promise to be kept.” President Joseph Biden

Good Morning Fellow Democrats:
What a difference a week can make! I can honestly say that, in 56 years of political involvement, I have never seen anything like the surge of enthusiasm for a campaign that comes even close to what has happened in the week since the Biden-Harris campaign became the Kamala Harris campaign. In just seven short days the newly energized campaign has raised a record-breaking $200 million, most of it coming from more than 880,000 small donors, basically tripling the size of the campaign war chest from just under $96 million to almost $300 million.
And while the money is an important measure of the enthusiasm, it’s not the only major change. Since President Biden dropped out and endorsed Vice President Harris to succeed him, more than 28,000 new volunteers have signed up to help get the Vice President elected. That’s a rate more than 100 times an average day from the previous Biden reelection campaign, underscoring the enthusiasm behind Harris.
Personally, I’ve seen it locally, as well. Traffic through our little office in Moriarty has greatly increased, with people asking for Harris for President yard signs, which we don’t yet have. Bottom line, the general attitude of New Mexico Democrats that I’ve been in touch with has gone from lethargic apathy and pessimism to invigorated optimism. We have a bright young candidate with a positive message for the future going up against an old has-been with nothing but lies and promises of discarding our Constitution to make himself a dictator.
Our time is NOW!
STAND UP!
PUSH BACK!
VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!!
Stand UP! Push Back! GET INVOLVED!

People often say, with pride, "I'm not interested in politics." They might as well say, "I'm not interested in my standard of living, my health, my job, my rights, my freedoms, my future or any future." ... If we mean to keep any control over our world and lives, we must be interested in politics.
