The Bowling Extravaganza is Friday, April 14, if you are planning to attend, please contact Peggy Shanahan or Mary Friemark! It's always a fun time. We're are accepting raffle prizes and auction items. See details below.

If you are interested in running for office for next year, please let me or Kathy Burke know. The officers include President, Vice President, Secretary and Elected Board members. Don't forget to renew your membership before the April meeting, so yoyu can vote!

2023 badges are available for purchase at the Bowling Extravaganza and April meeting for $1 each (or bags of 10 or 25 badges).

ANNUAL BOWLING EXTRAVAGANZA

The DOE Bowling Extravaganza is at HP Lanes 6:30-9:30 pm, Friday, April 14.

Check-in at 6 p.m., bowling starts @ 7 p.m. We will play three games (1 regular and 2 fun), the cost is $25 each, teams of four. There will be door prizes, raffles and more. If you would like to reserve a spot or have items to donate, please call or text Mary Friemark, 614-619-2752 or Peggy Shanahan, 614-323-6941.
2023 EGG HUNT

Thank you to all who attended and volunteered at the Daughters of Erin Easter Egg Hunt! We had a great time and appreciate all the raffle prizes.
It's always a wonderful event for our Irish family.

APRIL MEETING

The April meeting is Sunday, April 16 at Trinity School, Saint Christopher Church on Grandview Ave.

Hospitality asks us to bring items for a tea party. Please wear a hat as we enjoy the Tea Party.

Charities reports there is a needy family in need of a few items. We are collecting items at the April and May meetings. There are three children, one boy and two girls items needed include:
  • A baby grooming kit, soaps, medicines (pain, salves, etc.) and forehead thermometer
  • Century Dine on 4-in-1 high chair, Splash
  • Vibrating baby bouncer
  • Baby blankets
  • Diapers, size #2, #3 and #5-6 and baby wipes
  • Boy clothes, 3-6 months
  • Girl clothes, 24 month or 2T and 9-12 months
  • Baby play mat activity gym

MEMBERSHIP DUES

Annual membership dues are $10 for Junior members (under 18 years of age) and $20 for Regular members (ages 18-79).

Honorary members, age 80 and over, please confirm your information with Peggy McCathran, she will have the applications to review.

MAY CROWNING

The Daughters of Erin and Ladies Ancient of Order of Hibernians host the 2023 May Crowning, Saturday, May 13 at 11 am at Holy Family Church, 584 West Broad Street, in the Parish Center, behind the church.

All are invited ... bring friends and family!

There is a luncheon immediately after the Rosary and May Crowning.

Please plan to attend and so we can plan how much food to prepare, RSVP to Carolyn Collins at 614-893-1700. If you are interested in volunteering, please give her a call.
