AUGUST 2024 MONTHLY LETTER
We cannot deny that we are living in unprecedented times more than ever. What God calls evil, man wants to call it good. God’s word is established and no man can change it. As believers, we must stand in the truth of the word of God.
Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Be very mindful of this. This world system and society wants to call everything good, what God has called evil. But let me tell you, you must be able to discern the deception of evil. We as believers must take a stand against the lies of the devil. We must live by the truth of the word of God. Do not compromise your faith for the rewards of this world system to be accepted, recognized, have a position or have power. Our divine mission is to live for God, to live by the truth of the word of God, to be used for His service, and to give testimony of who He is! It is possible to live in this contaminated world, and stand firm to live for HIM.
As believers we must take a stand against what God calls evil. This is something each of us must do personally, due to our conviction of faith.
We have such an incredible testimony in the book of Daniel. Read Daniel chapter 3 and 6. You see, the King is a representation of a system, an evil system, the system of this world. King Nebuchadnezzar promoted idolatry in his kingdom. King Nebuchadnezzar was the persecutor, and wanted Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego to bow down to his image, and they refused to bow down to anyone else but God.
We named our son Daniel, and if you read the story of Daniel the prophet you will understand why this name was chosen for him. We can relate to this, many times we've been in the fire but God has brought us out of the fire. We will not compromise God’s word and truth! We will not bow down! Many times you must have to take a stand when opposition arises. Choose not to bow down to the system of this world. It seems like the spiritual war has intensified. Yes, when you choose to live for the Lord, many around you will oppose you because you have made a choice to live for HIM.
When you choose to live for the Lord, your life does not align with the system of this world, and there is a conflict with those around you. There is a separation that takes place in our lives when we choose to live for God. Our lives change and our position stands on His word.
Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego were determined to serve God regardless of the consequences. They chose to serve God regardless of the pressure they were up against. They were not moved because of pressure. This is a great example to us. They were bold and their security was in the Lord. They did not compromise, they knew that God would deliver them.
Daniel from the lion's den and Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego from the burning fiery furnace from anyone who opposed them. When your trust is in the Lord, the Lord will deliver you from the hands of your enemies. Daniel's, Shadrach’s, Meshack’s and Abed-Nego’s faith was in God and that must be our position as well.
This world system wants you to bow down to it and dance to every song, but you must not compromise. Do not bow down to the system of this world! Stand Firm!
