Maine Home & Remodeling Show
DMA will be exhibiting at that the Maine Home & Remodeling Show February 10 (10am - 5pm) and February 11 (10am - 4pm) at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland. This is our fifth year at the MH&R show. Tickets are $8, unless you contact Cathy, then they are free (while supplies last).
Maine Home + Design
The most recent Maine Home + Design magazine featured "No Small Feat" in their Drawing Board pages. At 750 sf, this one-bedroom house will have beautiful views of Merepoint Bay in Brunswick. Despite the site, the layout features an open plan and cathedral ceilings with large windows to help expand the perception of space even farther.
Tao Yuan steel
Steel has arrived! Steel erection has begun at Tao Yuan Greenhouse in Brunswick. The polycarbonate greenhouse has also shipped from China, and is currently sitting in shipping containers in Portland. Barring bad weather, the greenhouse is scheduled to be installed by the end of this month.
Doppelbloopers
Who doesn't love "Whose Line is it Anyway?"
Cathy's comedy gang, the
Doppelbloopers, are at it again Friday February 9 at 7:30pm at the Bath Golf Club. This comedy improv group is made of of local acting, comedy and music talent, and will be the third official show. The last two were a blast, you will laugh 'till it hurts. You can purchase tickets
here.
Views from the Jobsite
Insulation of the double-thick walls has been completed at Goose Ledge in Harpswell, and the owner has finalized exterior color choices. This 2,400 sf house now has amazing views to the water framed by the well organized windows. Construction by Oceanside Builders.
On the Drawing Board
We are completely changing the aesthetic of a small colonial house by attaching the garage and adding new dormers and a front entrance to the house. This house will fit better into its Brunswick neighborhood, too.
