Two DHM Faculty Recognized for Prestigious UCSF Awards!

Andy Lai was selected as a member of the Council of Master Clinicians.

"Andy is the 'doctor's doctor'" — the person in our group who receives the most unsolicited letters of gratitude from patients, the one who our interprofessional colleagues think of as representing the best of hospital medicine, and the one that we would send our loved ones to for care."

Lauren Linett received an Exceptional Physician Award.

"Dr. Linett exemplifies every one of the UCSF PRIDE values and stands out amongst her many outstanding leaders and peers as an individual who has made an enormous difference at UCSF through her character, integrity, and excellence. Her efforts over the past 2 years in particular helped demonstrate the value of UCSF to St. Mary's Medical Center and paved the way for UCSF Health to successfully move ahead with the proposed acquisition of St. Mary's Medical Center."

Rosemary Yau

"I just want to add my two cents about Rosemary Yau since we are in performance eval time — she is such a fabulous supervisor and I feel so lucky to be supervised by her! I see how many things she's involved in at work, and yet she always shows up fully present with me in our check-ins and she makes herself available if I need anything at work or if I'm stumped by a work issue — she really is always there to support me."
