During this year’s UN General Assembly, DFC unveiled a series of announcements and commitments aimed at advancing the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and creating meaningful impact across the developing world.

DFC, alongside Citi, announced that it is providing political risk insurance that will enable Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, to pre-purchase up to 2 billion vaccines for distribution across the globe.
Building Sustainable and Equitable Food Systems
DFC announced that it seeks to invest $1 billion in food security and agriculture projects over five years, helping improve global food systems while mitigating climate change, migration, and more.
