Layoffs

Jaden and Maggie investigate the somber world of corporate layoffs. They explore the role of Human Resources (HR) in managing layoffs, emphasizing the importance of compassion, transparency, and compliance with laws during the process. Students learn about real company events and are asked to consider the impact on departing and remaining employees.
