HOW TO REACH HILLMAN
Launching Our First Cohort!
We are excited to share a new college access opportunity with you! We have partnered with Syndicate HBCU Consulting & Advising to provide access to the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) called How to Reach Hillman (HTRH). The Syndicate was founded by Detroit native Tiffany E. Brockington. For more information about Tiffany and The Syndicate, please visit www.misshbcubroker.com.

HTRH is a seven week intensive online course beginning in January 2022, designed to expose students and their parents and educators to the collective HBCU educational and cultural experience. HTRH is designed specifically for students in areas without Historically Black Colleges and Universities. We are looking to engage 100 students and 10 high schools to participate in this program.

THE COLLEGE FIT PROJECT
Sign Up Your School by December 3rd!
The College “Fit” Project is a pilot campaign to engage learning how to determine the best "fit" schools. The Detroit College Match tool focuses on the academic alignment for match, reach and safety in conjunction with African American graduation rates, it does not however take into account the social-emotional disparagement that students endure embarking on their post graduation journeys.

The campaign will not only educate and elevate important factors that affect enrollment but will also develop critical thinking and knowledge application needed for college research. Students will use detroitcollegematch.com and a word bank to support determining a college list.

This project is designed for both middle and high school students. Register your school today to compete for up to $800 in prizes!
