DASNY Reports Strong Year for Construction, Finance

Authority Supports Vital Work in Education, Health Care,

and Service Delivery

DASNY Construction 2021:

$312 Million, 98 Projects

DASNY completed $312 million in construction projects in 2021, serving state agencies and public colleges and universities.

DASNY completed 98 projects of various sizes and complexities for universities, SUNY, CUNY, NYSDEC, NYSDOH, OMH, OPWDD, Office of Parks and Rec, The Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery (GOSR) and others. Learn more here.

DASNY Named Nation's #1 Issuer

for 2021

Thomson Reuters named DASNY the top issuer in the nation for 2021. DASNY issued $8 billion in bonds to help school districts, higher education institutions, not-for-profit organizations and the State obtain low-cost financing in 2021.

Clients include New York University, St. John's University, agencies serving New Yorkers with developmental disabilities, and many more. Learn more here.

DASNY Programs Support MWBEs, SDVOBs

DASNY works to ensure its partners reflect the diversity of New York State.

DASNY helps businesses owned by minorities, women and service-disabled veterans participate in state contracts, obtain greater access to bonding and capital, and develop business capacity to meet the needs of its customers.

DASNY recently launched a new program to help these businesses successfully compete for and execute DASNY construction contracts as prime contractors, with lines of credit, surety bonding and back office supports. The program is supported by a $10 million commitment from LISC’s Black Economic Development Fund (BEDF). Click here to learn more .

Since 2011, DASNY has spent more than $1.7 billion in construction with minority- and women-owned business enterprises (“MWBEs”) and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses (“SDVOBs”).

Project Spotlight

DASNY Builds Bridges with

U.S. Military Academy

DASNY's construction teams are proud to be working with the U.S. Military Academy at West Point on several bridge repair, installation, and restoration projects on its campus.

Concrete beams were pre-fabricated off-site to enable project work to progress on site simultaneously.

This $1.5 million dollar replacement project seen here will help cadets enter West Point's training ranges.
