Summer Community Service Project

The first day of school for the 2023-2024 school year will be August 16th, which will be used as an orientation day for new students. Only new students will report on August 16th. Returning students will begin on August 17th and will be required to complete a Community Service Project in order to account for attendance on August 16th. Our current students are being made aware of this great opportunity to give back to our community and reviewing the guidelines with their teachers. Those guidelines include:

  • Community Service/volunteer work must be unpaid.
  • The organization/recipient of Community Service cannot be a relative.
  • Half-Day DACC Students must complete 3 hours of Community Service.
  • Full-Day DACC Students must complete 6 hours of Community Service.
  • Community Service Work / Hours can be completed anytime between May 27th and August 16th.
  • Community Service work does NOT need to be related to the student’s DACC Lab.
  • Students have been given access to a list of available opportunities but are also encouraged to seek out their own community service projects.

Please complete and return the Summer Community Service Form to your lab instructor when you return on August 17th.

Registration for returning students for the 2023-2024 School Year

Online registration information for this upcoming school year was first emailed out to all incoming and returning students on April 28. This information was sent to the parent/guardian email address provided in each student’s DACC Application.

It is important to have registration completed before the start of the next school year. Registration includes completing student health and medical information, as well acknowledging receipt of other important DACC policies and procedures.

Please note that the parent/guardian listed for Contact 1 will receive all important communications, whether they are listed as an emergency contact or not.

The automated email comes from noreply@delawareacc.org. It includes a unique identifier to your student, called a “snapcode.” You will need this snapcode to start the registration process.

After the parent/guardian submits the registration, a confirmation

email is automatically sent. The confirmation email comes from PowerSchool

Registration Support noreplyregistration@powerschool.com.
