Spring break has officially begun for our DACC students. We hope everyone has a safe and happy break and look forward to seeing you back on April 1st.

March 25th - March 29th- Spring Break

No high school classes


April 8th - Flexible Learning Day for All Students

During flexible learning days, students are engaged in online assignments provided by their teachers. This is an opportunity to practice time management and self-direction, as well as hone the skills necessary for learning remotely - all skills that are valued by our collegiate and business partners.


April 11th - Parent-Teacher Conferences | 3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Flexible Learning Options Conferences | 5:15 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to meet with instructors to discuss your child's progress in their career technical education program and academic classes for students who attend full day.

April 22nd - National Technical Honor Society Induction Ceremony-

Congratulations to our 105 new and returning National Technical

Honor Society students! They have worked extremely hard to distinguish

themselves in Career Technical Education in order to earn this honor, and we

are excited to celebrate them. The induction ceremony will be held in person in the Commons at 7:00 p.m.

Career Tech Saturday

DACC will host Career Tech Saturday on April 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Students in grades 3-5 and their parents are invited to DACC to engage in a career awareness experience in a unique classroom environment.


Explore your choice of 1 or 2-hour-long sessions in areas such as Automotive Technology, App Development & Programming, Biotechnology, and Healthcare. Students will engage in a fun, hands-on project in each area. Find more information and register HERE

DACC Seniors – we want to celebrate you and your achievements!

Scholarships Available for Seniors

DACC Rotary Scholarships If you are interested in applying for the Rotary Scholarship, please fill out this Google Application Form. Applications are due Monday, April 1, 2024.


Students will interview with a small committee in mid to late April during school hours.


DACC Student Scholarship

$1,000 scholarships are available to students attending a two or four-year post-secondary institution after graduation. Essays are due Friday, April 19, 2024. Please see this flyer for more information

School Spirit Apparel Store

DACC now has an online school spirit store where you can purchase your favorite clothing items and accessories and have them delivered directly to your home. Most designs can be customized to include your lab name or our vision to empower, prepare, inspire, and connect all students.

Marion Tech Open House

Marion Tech’s Spring Open House for all students and families will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd, from 5:00 – 6:30 PM.This is a chance for prospective students and parents to visit campus and learn more about our academic programs at MTC. Please see here for more information


DACC Yearbook

Our yearbook is ready to order! While capturing cherished memories and unforgettable moments throughout the school year, be sure to secure your student's copy by pre-ordering now and ensuring they have a keepsake to cherish for years to come.


Completion Ceremony

The DACC Completion Ceremony will be held at the Delaware Hayes High School football stadium on May 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

Senior Photos

The DACC Photography Studio is booking appointments for senior photo sessions. Schedule a one-on-one session with an experienced student photographer. You can sign up using this Google Form, and we will contact you within 1-2 days for further details.


Military Family Resources

DACC works with a variety of military recruiters. These recruiters may be the same or different from homeschool recruiters and can ensure students are connected to the right person. Visit our Military Family Resource Page


Delay and Closings

When DACC is delayed or canceled due to weather, you will receive instant alerts through the contact information you provided at registration. Alerts will be sent to you by email, phone call, and text message. If you download the DACC app, you will receive a push notification on your phone. In addition, notices will be posted on our website and social media accounts. When you receive the delay or closure alert, make sure you know what to do by referencing our Delay & Closures page on our website.


Academic Hybrid Friday

During Academic Hybrid Fridays, all DACC academic students will be expected to complete online assignments in place of attending academic classes on Fridays. A copy of that email can be accessed here as well as a comprehensive FAQ about the program.


Attendance

You can easily report an absence using our online Report an Absence form found on the main menu of the DACC App or the Attendance page of our website.
