Traffic alert! As part of the Georgetown Gateway Project, a series of extended lane closures are planned for Chamblee Dunwoody Road (CDR) in the coming weeks and months.

The first one begins the week of April 24, with a detour for drivers traveling southbound on CDR toward I-285 who want to turn left on Cotillion Drive (to go to McDonald’s, the Madison Square apartments, etc.).

The lefthand turn onto Cotillion will be closed for thru traffic. Message boards and temporary signage will be in place to help drivers. We encourage motorists to detour per the attached map. We anticipate this detour will last for about a month. More staggered lane closures typically affecting lengths of roadway in 200 to 300-foot increments are also expected. We will post updates on the project website.

Please plan ahead, avoid the area, if possible, and be patient in the work zone to protect the work crews.

May is Amnesty Month

The goal is to settle outstanding violations with the court and reduce arrests. During Amnesty Month, if individuals pay their fines in full, all contempt fees will be forgiven. Learn more
