Any nicknames?
Answer:
My original nickname is "Deke Jr." which was shortened to "D.J.", however in high school my basketball coach nicknamed me "Professor" after seeing my work in his math class. While at Penn State University, some of my teammates called me "Slowpoke" because of how slow I would get up after being tackled.
Hero growing up?
Answer:
Turns out the greatest heroes were my parents.
Favorite movie or TV series?
Answer:
One of my favorite things to do is go to the movies so the difficult choice is to pick my favorite, but if I have to pick one, I would say Gladiator because it's the only movie I've watched over 10 times! I could say the same thing about my favorite TV series, there are too many to count. Let me put it this way, my DVR is full every week.
App you can't live without?
Answer:
Believe it or not, I have yet to become dependent on apps. I'm working on that transition.
Worst job you have had?
Answer:
When I was in college, I came home during the summer and worked as part of a construction cleanup crew.
Best vacation?
Answer:
I love to travel and I've enjoyed visiting some great destinations: the Florida Keys, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Italy and others. My favorite vacation was a three-day visit to Sanibel Island, Florida.
Food you absolutely refuse to eat?
Answer:
There are at least two foods that I refuse to eat: liver and lima beans.
Exercise or diet tip you swear by?
Answer:
Fiber, fiber, fiber and incorporate lots of movement and muscle resistant exercises in your lifestyle to burn those calories.
Pet peeve?
Answer:
By far the number one pet peeve in my life is when someone doesn't return my message or call!
