DOL Announces Final Overtime Rule Increasing FLSA Salary Basis


Effective July 1, 2024, the final rule increases the standard salary threshold from $684 per week ($35,568 per year) to $844 per week ($43,888 per year). And, effective January 1, 2025, the standard level will increase again to $1,128 per week ($58,656 per year). Read more by GLGA member Husch Blackwell.

FTC Adopts Final Rule Banning Employers From Entering Non-Competes


The FTC voted to approve a final rule that will effectively ban the use of non-compete clauses by employers and require employers to rescind existing such agreements, with the exception of existing agreements with senior executives. Read more by GLGA member Ogletree Deakins.

Internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portal Establishments—2010–2021


According to County Business Patterns, in 2020 there were 8,947 establishments in NAICS 51913 (Internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portals). Two Sides Global Campaign Reports Increasing Greenwashing as Organizations Focus on Sustainability


Two Sides has challenged over 2,650 organizations found to be communicating greenwashing messages to their customers. Over 1,180 organizations have, so far, removed misleading anti-paper statements. Read more by Two Sides North America.
