Greater Metro Boston Municipalities:

There are numerous state and federal grant opportunities currently available for funding diverse projects. Doing our due diligence to help keep you informed about these opportunities, we've included information on relevant grants (and resources) below.

We understand that for many of the opportunities, the application process takes tremendous time and staff capacity to complete. MAPC may be able to help.

MAPC's Technical Assistance

If your municipality is interested in applying for federal funding, but lacks staff capacity, please contact us. Grant Assistance Program (GAP) funding could allow you to seek assistance from knowledgeable Regional Planning Agency (RPA) staff, which can also lead to more competitive regional and multi-municipal applications, increasing the likelihood of receiving funding. For inquiries or questions contact Norman Abbott (nabbott@mapc.org).

Is This Email Helpful?

Information on upcoming grant opportunities, upcoming application deadlines, and grant resources is included every month in the MAPC Matters newsletter. However, we understand that new grant opportunities and resources are quickly becoming available, and it may be difficult to keep track of those you find relevant to you and your community. Coinciding with this, we are interested in hearing your feedback on whether an email like this one that would be sent out once a month is a helpful resource for you.

Please let us know through this quick (we value your time!), survey.
