• Organize your own Rare Disease Day event. Here are some ideas. Then, post pictures of your event on social media.

• Follow Rare Disease Day on social media and stay informed.

• If you live near Washington D.C. or attending Rare Disease Week, register to attend Rare Disease Day at the National Institutes of Health on February 28.

• Make a donation to a rare disease organization (like Cure CMD!) or host a fundraiser to fund important research for rare disease.

• Tell Congress to reject dangerous IPI proposals, which would set certain drug prices based on an international benchmark. While we support the intention of lowering costs for patients, this proposal will threaten patient's access to both existing and future therapies.

• Make plans to attend one of the Rare on the Road events, sponsored by Global Genes and the EveryLife Foundation. Dates and locations have just been announced!

• Share your journey! NORD is asking those affected by Rare Disease to complete a 10 minute survey on barriers to diagnosis, care, and treatments. Your data is valuable and can help them further the cause!
