Crystal Lake Park District and Village of Lakewood staff will be on hand to share the design of the playground for Haligus Road Park.

Seniors! Join us the first Tuesday of each month* to walk indoors around the perimeter of Grand Oaks Auditorium, 1401 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake. Free, just drop-in 1-2 pm to walk and socialize.

The ORIGINAL competition of its' kind in the area-Crystal Lake Park District Puzzle Palooza! Race against other teams to finish the same 500 piece jigsaw puzzle. Spots are filling fast! Enjoy an ice cream sundae bar Crystal Lake Dunkin'/Baskin Robbins

Letters to Santa is a holiday gift to the community’s children! For over 30 years, the Crystal Lake Park District has been helping Santa write letters to all his fans! Send us your child’s letter by Friday, December 8, plus include a stamped, self-addressed envelope and we will send you a reply a few days before Christmas. Letters may be mailed or dropped off at Santa’s special mailbox inside the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, One East Crystal Lake. Firewood is a mixture of hardwoods. You load and haul.

Don't throw them out; recycle them. From December 1-January 15, the Crystal Lake Park District will offer free holiday light recycling. Just head to the Parks Services Garage, 305 Lakeshore Dr, Crystal Lake and drop into the bin near the dumpsters.

The Winter Spring 2024 Digital Activity Guide will go live and registration OPENS on December 8. All households in the 60012 and 60014 zip codes should look for the print guide to hit your mailbox December 11-14. Programs run January-May 2024.
