Letters to Santa is a holiday gift to the community’s children! For over 30 years, the Crystal Lake Park District has been helping Santa write letters to all his fans!

Send us your child’s letter by Friday, December 8, plus include a stamped, self-addressed envelope and we will send you a reply a few days before Christmas. Letters may be mailed or dropped off at Santa’s special mailbox inside the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, One East Crystal Lake. Don't throw them out; recycle them. Now through January 15, the Crystal Lake Park District will offer free holiday light recycling. Just head to the Parks Services Garage, 305 Lakeshore Dr, Crystal Lake and drop into the bin near the dumpsters.

As the holidays approach, it's important to remember that vehicle break-ins tend to increase during the holiday season. To safeguard your belongings and your vehicle, take precautions such as removing valuables, keeping your keys with you, and locking your car when shopping or visiting our parks and facilities. An unlocked car with visible valuables becomes an easy target for potential theft.
