Crusader Connection

March 22, 2024

Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families:

Spring has sprung! We hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break and is looking forward to Holy Week beginning on Palm Sunday. It’s hard to believe we are now in the 4th and final quarter of the school year. Summer will be here before you know it. We have many activities in the coming months, the Crusader Connection will be your best source of information.

Congratulations to our 8th graders who received their acceptance letters from Catholic and private high schools last week. Report cards went out today. We are proud of our students and their accomplishments. Our partnership with our parents is vital to student success. Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher(s) with any questions you may have.

We continue to accept applications at all grade levels for the 2024-2025 school year, be sure to spread the great news about our school. We are currently looking to fill open Advisory School Council positions for the 2024-2025 school year. If you are interested in information regarding discernment, click here.

Our largest fundraiser of the year, the All that Glitters Gala, is just around the corner. Our gala chairs and many volunteers are hard at work preparing for an amazing night of food, fellowship, and fundraising. The event will be held on Saturday, April 6th at the Enchanted Cypress Ballroom. We hope that everyone will be able to join us. Tickets can be purchased online here or via check, just stop by the school’s business office to pay by check. Thank you for participating in our raffle ticket sales. If you would like additional books of raffle tickets, please reach out to Mrs. Minch. Thank you for your support through donations, raffle ticket sales, and most importantly, prayers for a successful gala.

Have a wonderful and blessed weekend.

With gratitude,

Kendall Shamas, Ed. D.

GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, WHO IS GOOD, WHOSE MERCY ENDURES FOREVER. PSALM 106:1

RAFFLE TICKET SALES

RAFFLE TICKET INFO

Raffle tickets for our All that Glitters Gala were distributed to students this week, so please check those backpacks!

This year we are doing our raffle a little bit differently - rather than having 3 or 4 items that we will draw winners for at the Gala, we are going to draw one winner every school day during the month of May. Each day one winner will receive a gift card valued between $25 and $100. See the image below for details regarding which gift cards are assigned to which days.

Raffle tickets are $10 each; every winner will more than double their money! Please bring raffle tickets with you when visiting family and friends over spring break. Winners don't need to be local!

We are asking each family to sell 10 tickets. Please return ticket stubs to the front office in the bag you received the raffle tickets in so we can properly account for all tickets distributed and ensure incentives are awarded properly. Please return any unsold tickets to the front office.

Incentives for raffle ticket sales are as follows:

Each family that sells one book (10 tickets) - one free dress day (5/3)

Each family that sells 5 books - lunch with Corporal Foote

Each family that sells 10 books - silly string the Principal

Raffle tickets will be sold through the end of April.

Thank you for your continued support. I am grateful for this amazing community.
