Confirmation Information Meeting
January 28

Confirmation marks a time when a youth or adult publicly confirms their faith and commitment as a disciple of Christ. At FMC Midlothian, students 6th grade through adulthood will participate in weekly classes preparing them for Confirmation Sunday, which will be held in the church on May 5. Classes will be held during the Sunday school hour from February 4 through April 28, with some breaks during Easter and Spring Break.
All who are interested are invited to attend an informational meeting on January 28 at 9:40 AM in the Family Life Center. This meeting is for adults and parents of youth that are in 6th grade or older, who are interested in Confirmation 2024. Youth who are interested are welcome to attend with their parents!
| | Discover Grace is a worship experience focused on opening our hearts and minds to discovering God's grace together! This is a new way of being church, particularly for families, but open and welcoming for everyone. Families will enjoy being together, making things, eating, and celebrating God together through His Word, music, and prayer. With Discover Grace, we are creating a community of all ages centered on Christ, showing Christian hospitality and giving people a chance to express their creativity, to sit down together and eat a meal, and to have fun in the church! | |
Bring the Light into Worship | |

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12
The lighting of candles in a worship service symbolizes Jesus’ presence with the worshipping community. We are seeking acolytes to assist with the lighting of the altar candles during the 11 AM traditional service. Acolytes can be children, youth or adults! Children must be at least 8 years old. Please consider participating as we are planning to have a rotation. Email Cindy Ryan for more information.
