A Word from the Youth Pastor | |
Hey there! We're excited to invite you to a special dinner TONIGHT hosted by our Maui Mission Team to raise funds for our upcoming mission trip! The team will be helping in the kitchen, serving food, cleaning, and more in order to raise funds for the cost of their trip. Dinner will be Fettucini Alfredo, salad, rolls and dessert. We hope you join us in supporting the Maui Mission Team!
Our team is eagerly preparing to serve the people of Maui this summer, and we can't wait to share the love of Jesus with them in a variety of ways. During our time in Maui, we'll be working on various hands-on projects in the mornings, such as clearing debris, mulching, creating fire breaks, and replanting native plants for soil retention. In the afternoons, we'll shift our focus to relational ministry and serve at a food pantry, supply distribution site, or in children's ministries to provide assistance to local families.
We believe that this mission trip is an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the people of Maui, especially those who were affected by the fires in August of 2023. With your generous support, we can ensure that every member of our team has the opportunity to participate in this mission trip, regardless of their financial situation.
We would be thrilled to have you join us for a delicious dinner and support our team as they prepare for this journey. We will be offering a variety of delicious pasta, desserts, and drinks for you to enjoy! Your generosity will make a significant difference in the lives of the people of Maui and help us share the love of Jesus with those who need it most. So please join us this Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 PM to support our Youth Maui mission team!
Thank you in advance for your support, and please keep our team in your prayers as they prepare their hearts for this journey. We hope to see you on Wednesday night!
