values and what we, as a church, should focus on in the future. You can signup at the Welcome Center and choose which date and time works best for you. All sessions will be held here at church.

Refugee Sponsor Team
Dear St. Barnabas friends,
The recently-formed refugee sponsor team (working with Alight and Welcome Corps) is excited to welcome our match - a young Venezuelan woman and her 4-year old son - on Monday, September 16th!
At this early stage, we are in need of two things:
- a car seat (booster) that meets current safety standards
- monetary donations to help set them up with groceries, transportation costs, and phone service
We have a grant to help with the financial side of resettlement, but those funds may not arrive for another two weeks or more. As time goes on, we expect to be looking for a vehicle in working condition as well as other basic housing needs. For the first month, a fully furnished residence is in place.
Thank you in advance for your prayers and support!
Beth Grosen, Margaret Wold, Laurie Sanderson, Cindy Dogan

Yogadevotion is Back!
The body of the class is a combination of standing poses, balance poses and floor poses. The classes close with restorative yoga, a practice of calm alertness that allows a time of reflection and thanksgiving for God’s Presence in our lives. The faith based language you will hear in class is familiar, the benediction, invocation and prayer that closes the class. This class is for all levels as Yogadevotion LLC teaches that the primary teacher is your own body and that voice is the important one. Modifications are offered for all poses.
All are welcome to attend this 8 week class on Mondays from 5:30pm-6:30pm September 9th through October 28th by Zoom or in person!
