Don't forget - in less than one month, the Junior Academy requirement is due December 1st. Keep reading for details on completing Junior Academy.

If you are not sure if you have completed Junior Academy, please send us an email at seniorprogram@crosbyscholars.org for help right away. Adulting Tip: Ask early! Don't wait until the deadline to ask for help!

Tomorrow! Junior Academy Webinar

Last Chance to Attend a Live Junior Academy Webinar!

Tomorrow is your last opportunity to attend a Live Junior Academy Webinar! Register Now in your Crosby Scholars Portal if you would like to attend. Next week, we have our last in-person Junior Academy sessions - registrations for those are also in your Portal.

All Juniors must attend or complete one (1) Junior Academy by December 1st. This is a dismissal point of the Crosby Scholars Program. There are two Junior Academy topics for you to choose from - "Explore My Options" or "Create My Plan." Which of these sounds like you? Pick one + register now.

Option - On-Demand Junior Academy

Completing Junior Academy is Easy as 1, 2, 3...

Did you know? You can watch an On-Demand Recording of a previous Junior Academy webinar to earn your Junior Academy credit! These options are available to you in the Crosby Scholars Portal (look for the post "Junior Academy Option | On-Demand Webinar Recordings") or you can review the options below.

To complete an On-Demand Junior Academy:

Review your choices of On-Demand Junior Academies & select which one is best for you.
Watch the On-Demand Webinar Recording of the Junior Academy you choose.
Complete the required Exit Survey (presented in the on-demand recording).

Tonight! Junior Parent Session

Parents, You're Invited Tonight!

Date: Tuesday, November 7th

Time: 7:00 PM

Location: Zoom (virtual)

Parents/guardians of Crosby Scholars Juniors, you're invited to our first Junior Parent Session! This Zoom meeting will be an opportunity for you to ask questions about the Crosby Scholars Program, what to expect for Senior year, and more.

Registration is required in here. We look forward to meeting with you virtually tonight!

Questions About Advising?

Your Advisor Form is Due December 1st!

All Crosby Scholars Juniors and Seniors receive the great benefit of Crosby Scholars Advising! Beginning in the Junior year spring, Crosby Scholars Juniors meet one on one with their Crosby Scholars Advisor. Advising continues through the Senior year.

All Crosby Scholars Juniors must complete the Advisor Form by December 1st. You have two options: 1. Be assigned a Crosby Scholars Staff Advisor or 2. Identify your own Advisor (Student-Selected Advisor).

Community Service Opportunity

Saturday! Join Us Virtually for Service with SPARK!

Are you interested in Winston-Salem State University or the University of North Carolina at Greensboro? Visit them with Crosby Scholars on Monday, October 30th! Crosby Scholars will provide bus transportation, lunch, and snacks for the day.

Date: Monday, October 30th

Time: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM

Registration is required in the Crosby Scholars Portal. Parent/guardian permission is also required to attend- see the Portal for details. Attending this college visit complete your College Fair/College Visit requirement. Remember, all Scholars must complete the College Fair/College Visit requirement by December 1st of their Senior year.
