So the distances were changed, but still the same great race and course. The Croom Zoom Trail Run is only a few weeks away so time to get focused. The race will be at Croom Forest within the Withlacoochee State on Saturday, January 6. The beautiful course winds through the park past oak hammocks and other great Florida backcountry scenery.

Early Summer - Moon Over Croom

The Croom Zoom Trail Run is almost upon us at the Croom Management District within Withlacoochee State Forest on Saturday, January 6, 2024. The beautiful race course winds through the park going through oak hammocks and great Florida backcountry scenery. This is a different course than the John Holmes Run, Fools Run, and Moon Over Croom.

This is very well marked course and it is scenic and great fun to run. Trail shoes are a help but not necessary. Challenge yourself to this great event. The post race feast will include burgers along with the usual post race fare.

Skull Cap Finisher Awards

All Finishers will receive a Croom Zoom Custom Skull Cap. These are great for chilly mornings and are thin enough to even be warm in not so cold temps.
