Maureen Schwehr, NMD, CST-D

 

Dr. Schwehr is the founder of the Heartwood Institute of Integrative Medicine and has taught CranioSacral Therapy since 2003.  She currently teaches classes in Arizona, Minnesota and California.  Dr. Schwehr received her doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. In her naturopathic medical practice, she works with women's health, hormonal, digestive other health issues. She also has trained with the Autism Research Institute and is a Defeat Autism Now (DAN) doctor. In her CranioSacral work she specializes in injury and trauma recovery, pediatric work and exploring emotional connections to the body and disease processes. 

 

She brings to the classroom extensive experience with CranioSacral Therapy and a unique intuitive approach that helps bring out the best in her students.
